  • 18th February » Terrorist bombs 2007 Samjhauta Express bombings or explode on the Samjhauta Express in Panipat, Haryana, India, killing 68 people.
  • 23rd February » A Grayrigg rail crash or train derails on an evening express service near Grayrigg, Cumbria, England, killing one person and injuring 22. This results in hundreds of points being checked over the UK after a few similar accidents.

  • 12th April » A suicide bomber 2007 Iraqi Parliament bombing known as penetrates the Green Zone and detonates in a cafeteria within a parliament building, killing Iraqi MP Mohammed Awad and wounding more than twenty other people.
